25 Things to do with Kids this Summer

Take a texture walk outside. Walk on different textures and talk about how they feel. For example: sand, grass, leaves, warm concrete, mud, rocks, wood.
Colored water fun…add food coloring to water and mix the colors outside.
Make bubbles…equal parts dish soap and water with 1-2 tsp. corn syrup.
Put holes in the bottom of a milk jug for sprinkling.
Paint things outside with water and a paint brush.
Manhole Art…take crayon rubbings of unusual manhole covers on local Malls.
Take a bath outside in a swimsuit.
Have a picnic outside for breakfast in your pjs.
Dig for worms in the corner of the garden after a rainstorm.
Wash the vehicles…don’t forget the bikes!
Make scribble cookies…melt old crayons in muffin tins in the oven.
Go on a walk about explore nature…look for “creatures”
Read books outside under a tree.
Set up an obstacle course and go through it.
Go fishing.
Visit a local park.
Plant a package of flower seeds, water and watch them grow!
Check the temperature each day and record it.
Make ice cream the old fashion way.
Set up a tent in your backyard and sleep overnight.
Set up a lemonade stand and sell lemonade to your neighbors.
Go tubing at a water park.
Go to a Amusement Park.
Go to the beach and make sand castles.
Lie in the grass, look at the clouds and visualize shapes, animals, etc.
