Thank You, Lord, For My Children

Thank you, Lord, for my children,
And letting me watch them grow,
Into adults with whom I can be so proud,
And pray that You'll let me show,

That I will be there to encourage them,
To strengthen, help and support,
To show them the love of the Father,
And give them a good report.

And please let them know that I love them,
By pointing the way to You,
So they won't be caught in the Judgment,
And say that they never knew.

And Lord, in your wonderful mercy,
Please sanctify, set them aside,
And honour the things they've committed to You,
'Till, there by Your side they abide.
